What Comes Next? A Conversation with Student Disability Services

Making the transition to college is both exciting and nerve-wracking for all students, but for students with disabilities seeking accommodations, it can require even more preparation. Have no fear! Student Disability Services is here to help make every entry to Butler University a smooth one for students with disabilities. In this session, we will review how accommodations work on the college level (and how that can differ from high school experiences), what qualifies a student as a person with a disability, and what steps students and families can put in place to support a successful first year as a Butler Bulldog.

Due to the private and sensitive nature of this topic, all participants of this session will join anonymously. Only the webinar presenters will know the identities of those attending. Participant engagement will not require disclosure of any specific, identifying details. Any questions that participants pose will remain anonymous as well.

The same content will be covered at both webinar dates. Choose the date that works best for you.
