Sponsored Groups

Butler information sessions and campus tours are available for school groups and educational organizations. So that we can create the best experience possible for your organization, we ask that groups of 10 or more students register for a sponsored group visit instead of one of our regularly offered student visits.  

Please contact us at least two (2) weeks prior to your desired visit date. We will do our best to accommodate your date request; however, due to campus events and staffing limitations, we may need to consider alternate dates.

Visit Preparation
Campus tours will include a substantial amount of walking. Please encourage all participants to wear comfortable clothing and shoes. Arriving on time is important; in the event of a late arrival, your campus tour will likely be modified.

Chaperone Requirements
Chaperones will be required to accompany school groups at all times during the visit. Our required ratio is as follows:

High school = 1 Adult : 15 Students
Middle School = 1 Adult : 10 Students
Our sponsored group tours can accommodate 10-75 people.

Cancellation Notice
If you must cancel your visit, we ask that you give at least three days notice. Failure to do so may limit future schedule availability for your group. Please contact visit@butler.edu to do so.
